Oh, I think everything that happens that is out of the ordinary is significant in some way, especially on a vessel such as this one. A little red bird being out in the middle of what appears to be the ocean is most certainly unusual and altogether incredibly significant, I should think.

I do think you're quite right, it seems as if everytime you turn around there's something to discover, or rediscover here. I quite like this ship, though I do think the Captain really ought to rethink a few things.
