[Alice is not amused in the least bit whatsoever. She's currently handcuffed to her bed, and is in a bit of a foul temper.]

Now, I do realize that this rabbit hole is something entirely different than Underland and I am quite alright with that - one can hardly expect each and every rabbit hole to be identical, after all, considering that would be terribly boring - but I must admit that this is rather out of line, don't you think?

[Rattle rattle.]

I confess, I dislike being in chains.

Oh! Malkus, I've been suddenly imprisoned by an invisible man with an invisible key-! It's been dreadfully difficult to locate that key, would it be possible for you to come to my room and perhaps help me search? I've been in odd predicaments before but I admit I've never had to search for something that was truly invisible, unless you count a hide and seek match with Chessur, and that's something I don't think anyone could ever hope to win.

[OH GOD IT'S WORSE THAN HE FEARED.]

My lord! I shall be there at once! ... Where... Was that again?

[He stopped...What deck was this ev- DEAR LORD THERE'S A FIRE ON DECK, BACK TO THE ELEVATOR.]

Do you know if this invisable man is in your room?

[Gasp. He's now in the safety of the magical elevator.]

What if he is still in your room! Be on your guard. I'll be there in just a moment!

[WITH ONE SWIFT SWOOP HE SLAPPED ALL THE BUTTONS IN THE ELEVATOR.]

[There is a lot of interesting commotion going on in the background of his comm, and Alice stares at her little talking box with no small amount of curiosity.]

Deck 07, room 6212 on said deck, and I rather hope he isn't in my room - that would be a tad awkward indeed, don't you agree? Though if he were, I Do wish he'd tell me the location of his invisible key, considering being chained to the bed is a tad bit inconvenient, especially when one would like to be otherwise occupying their time with various other activities.

Like golf.

[After a series of "DINGS" it sounds like he's finally reached the right deck. Frantic footsteps are heard!]

If he were in your room he's being rather quiet! Try calling him by his name...Or a name... You're chained to the bed? ... What is golf...? Here I am!

[A series of knocks are heard coming from your door and the communicator at the same time...Yes...He's going to politely wait for you to open the door, like any gentleman would...No, he hasn't thought this out.]

He is, isn't he? It's all a bit odd, if you ask me. [And that's saying something. Alice has never encounter someone who STAYED invisible. AT least Chessur eventually showed himself.]

Oh, gold is a club-and-ball sport, where each player has a club and they hit small little balls in the general direction of a small hole, all trying to see who can do it in the least number of hits. Pointless game, I rather think but I can hardly discount someone else's enjoyment, though I myself would much rather be doing other things with my time.

[She hears the knocking, and does indeed try to get up, just in case the invisible man had unlocked her while she had been distracted with golf. No such luck.]

Bollocks. You'll have to come right on in Malkus- I'm afraid I'm in no position to be a proper hostess.

I'm really not sure if "odd" is odd on this boat and not just normal anymore...

[He sighed, leaning his head against the door.]

Club...ball? ... Small hole? This seems ridiculous, Miss Alice. Not to mention boring...I suppose some would find it interesting though...

[He gave is usual blank stare, meaning he was deep in thought...Wh-What, wait what, what's going on...oh, OH RIGHT THE RESCUE!]

Oh! Hah, right!

[He quickly grabbed the door and OPENED IT, Ready for whatever invisable attack would come at him!]

[He quickly held his hands up infront of his face, flinching.]

Does that mean I'll have to start being 'normal' in order to be the odd one out? Interesting theory, I think that will require a bit more investigation. [She tugs at the cuff.]

Oh, I'm certain there are those that find it most engaging, but to me it's about as exciting as croquet, though that game has a certain tendency to become a bit life threatening, if I do recall.

[She's sitting on her bed in her white dressing gown, looking thoroughly put out. Her room is also a disaster in the immediate area of her reach. She's been searching for that invisible key.]

Malkus, I think you're quite alright - my invisible man seems to be quite the silent type.

I suppose it depends on what you consider normal... Some animals consider it normal to eat nothing but leaves...and other animals. But for a person that'd be rather...off...

[He began cautiously working his way around the room, gently lifting up things and setting them down in order to search for this special key.]

I hope he's also the non-hitting type...

[Still, he thought it was best to keep his guard up, quickly looking over his shoulder every now and then in the off chance he...sees...the invisable man...yeah...]

Why do you think this transparent trickster would do such a thing? Have you angered anyone recently?

[He gave Alice an accusing stare, lifting up a paper cup, turning it over, and setting it back down.]

[She taps her finger against her cheek.]

Well, I've always been a bit odd - if I don't like something then I just don't like it, regardless of if it's proper or not. [She 'hmphs', then holds one of her feet out, examining her boot.]

Mother didn't like it when I went sans stockings and corset. 'Why Alice, you aren't properly dressed! Where's your stockings? Where's your corset? Go back this instant and put them on'! I hated wearing a corset.

[Except she's beginning to miss her mother's nagging. She hadn't been in Underland this long.]

I most certainly haven't!

[Malkus get's a bit of an indignant stare as Alice folds her arms over her chest and lifts her chin to stare very pointedly at the wall. Imagine, Alice angering someone that wasn't the Red Queen. The nerve!]

Aw, no no! I didn't mean any harm by that!

[He let out a soft laugh as he got down on the floor, peeking under her bed.]

I simply suggested that someone might have targeted you for this little trick because...erm...

[Think, Malkus. People like hearing compliments, quickly! Be nice!

He popped his head back up above the bed, on the opposite side of Alice.
]

Because they could be jealous of your optomism! Your way of seeing things differently!

[He quietly want back to shuffling around the room, turning things over gently. If it were his room he'd be tearing the place up but it's not so he'll be respectful of anothers things!]

Hm.

[She thinks about this suggestion.]

Perhaps you're right - they were after me in Underland, you know. But that was different, they knew about the Oraculum and the Vorpal Sword and the slayings that I didn't originally want any part of, and I rather think that isn't going to be much a of a problem here, so perhaps that argument is, in fact, invalid.

[She swings her legs, watching him thoughtfully.]

I suppose there's always the chance that his little problem will go away just as quickly as it arrived.

[Alice was almost asleep when it had happened. Dressing gown and all.]

[Malkus nods towards Alice, listening for a bit before he realizes what time it is! He seems to have completely lost track of how late it could be.]

This boat seems so odd, I wouldn't doubt the possiblity of things being fine tomorrow. Still though if you ever need me you know how to reach me!

[Malkus makes sure her comm is within reach before scuttling over to the bathroom with a paper cup, speaking over the noise of a faucet running.]

If you need a midnight snack or anything, let me know! I'll run some stuff right over from the buffet!

[He returns from the room, holding out a paper cup of water to Alice.]

Just incase you're thirsty during the night... I suppose we'll see how things end up tomorrow!

[He gives Alice one last nod and tip of the hat before seeing himself out.]
