I seem to be missing quite a few pieces of my armor, and I would very much like them returned to me, if at all possible. I should think that Mirana would be very displeased indeed were I to ever return to Underland sans leggings.

((ooc: Backdated to the day after this. She is missing her armor - chest piece - claimed by Malkus!, leggings, shoulder paldrons, and armored boots - claimed by Phoenix!. Also her spikey club. She is rather fond of that.))

It's only the finest armor in all of Underland - so terribly shiny that it might just blind you if the sun hit in the right spot, terribly fitted, it's made for me, you see - so it's not exactly large enough for anyone other than me. The craftsmanship is entirely unmatched.

I'll be there shortly.

[Though perhaps not as soon as he normally would. His steps are slowed as he continues to look, hoping to spot a head of either red hair or blond. Even though they both have disappeared from the ship's network, it is too soon for him to be willing to give up his search.

Still, some minutes later, Alice will hear a knock on her door, and if she opens it she'll find a tall man with long pointed ears holding her armored boots.]

[Alice's own movements are jagged and slow, it still feels a bit like she's in a dream, and as if this perpetual feeling of horror that's sitting uneasily in her stomach really ought to have evaporated by now.

Unfortunately, it hasn't.

Pulling the door open to greet Phoenix (whom, she is now realizing, she has never met - she is certain this is a terrible first impression, losing things as important as armor), Alice tries, and fails, to smile.

He's just not exactly interested right now. Too soon, and his emotions are still to volatile with the loss he hasn't admitted.

Instead he simply holds out the boots.]

[Alice had, of course, woken up entirely unclothed - after several stunned moments of trying to remember what had happened, she had gotten to her feet and had pulled a frock (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=9581581) of suitable length (sans corset of course, Alice does so hate a corset), and had stuffed her feet into a pair of soft slippers. If anything, Alice is quite the trooper, and despite the sick feeling in the pit of her stomach, she managed to at least pull herself together somewhat.

She stands to the side to admit him, then holds out her hands a bit desperately for her boots.

Yes, that would be them, thank you so very much, Phoenix - Mirana would be so terribly displeased with me were I to inform her that I had lost them.

Yes, it was all part of a complete set gifted to me by Mirana. [She nudges the boots with her foot.]

I wore it when I slayed the Jabberwocky, that would be why, in certain places, it is a bit bespeckled with purple.

[Alice very much would like to burst into tears - truth be told, she has already done her fair share of hysterical sobbing in the corner of her bed, with a pillow pressed firmly to her face to muffle her cries. However, as Absolom has told her previously - crying does not accomplish anything, and after her initial downpour of tears she has very firmly kept any more outbursts at bay.

Still - seeing someone you care quite a bit for die before your eyes, and then dying yourself only to be resurrected in the nude on your bed was unnerving, disconcerting, and disorienting.

She clears her throat, and keeps her audio on, and tries very hard to be strong, for the both of them.

Well. We are alive now, so that's that, right? There's little reason to continue to dwell on the past so we might as well move forward and do our best to put what happened behind us. I rather think we've learned out lesson at least, don't you?

Malkus decides to carry the chest piece with him as he rushes down the hallway, his ghostly bedsheet floating and waving behind him as he runs in bare feet. (All he's got at the moment are his pants and his bedsheet)
